Available Now!Julie Miller has returned to her home in Brookfield, Wyoming after discovering she is pregnant. All she wants is her mother to comfort her after her boyfriend told her to either have an abortion or leave. The only problem is, when she gets to her mother’s house, she doesn’t find her mom—she finds a half-naked man cooking breakfast. Mark Thomas has moved to Brookfield to escape his past. He needs a fresh start to try and forget the things that haunt him, and Brookfield seems like the perfect place. As if it isn’t bad enough that Julie doesn’t find her mother, a blizzard buries the town, and she is snowed in with Mark. Leaving them no choice, they begin a friendship while trying to resist the attraction they feel for one another. Once the snow melts, Julie is free to leave. Will she choose to start a life in Brookfield or run back to New York? Meanwhile, Mark struggles to let go of his past and, if he does, is Julie his future? AMAZON 1. Tell us a little about yourself. I’m a hard working mother of four and the eldest of four children. I was born in a small City in a Caribbean island some twenty something years ago and moved to the USA when I was four. I developed a love for books even before I could read them and my parents encouraged my passion by supplying a healthy amount of books, which I read often. 2. What genre do you write? Paranormal Romance, Erotic Romance, Horror, Young Adult. 3. Please tell us about your latest release (insert title) and how you came up with the idea. Call of the Wolf, which was released on July 13th, is my debut novel. The plot for this book was actually born out of an idea I had one night while I was lying in bed. For some crazy reason I cannot yet explain, I had the sudden flash image of this odd looking vampire with long white hair and pale blue eyes standing in the middle of the woods, staring at a young werewolf female who had no idea how to identify his supernatural nature. When this crossed my mind I began to imagine how to play with that concept and make it work into a story. A few months after that, Call of the Wolf was completed. I am really excited about this Monday. This is a very big week for me...I think. Let me first say, last week wasn't so hot. One publisher closed and several of my books are no longer available. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do with them, and I've decided to self-publish them. And this week, Finding Home is going first! I hope to have it up and ready by this Friday. Yikes. I'm thrilled and scared. I've seen the new mock of the cover and I can't wait to share it. The cover really captures the story. So many changes are going on right now in my world of being an author. With one of my publisher's closing down, its left me with a lot of options. And after much consideration, I've decided to take the two stories, Sarah's Chase and Finding Home and go the self-publishing route. Each of these books had a partner book that was getting ready to release. And the last thing I wanted to do was have to put all of these stories on hold. Also, I had a short story in the Love, Again anthology, titled Wanted: Wife. The story was a big success and I think I am going to turn this short story into a full-length!
I apologize for the inconvenience it may cause to any of my readers that Finding Home, Love Again, and Sarah's Chase are currently not available. The publisher these books were with have closed their doors. I am currently waiting on my rights to be reversed and then I will move forward with the plan I have. I will keep you, my readers, up to date. And I thank you in advance for your patience as I make this transition with my stories.
