Hi and welcome! This is my first sex sentence Sunday and I decided to tease you just a bit. Enjoy!
************
“I want you to take off your shorts and panties and turn around and hold the ends of the couch.” Jax pointed in the direction of the couch she was standing by.

Amber stood frozen a minute at his bluntness. He liked seeing her unsure. With her eyes locked on his, she gradually removed her shorts and panties, letting them fall to the floor. She walked over to the couch so her back was to him and took hold of the side.

10/28/2011

I decided that I was going to try to post a weekly happenings every Friday. An awesome author I love, Keri Ford is doing this on Monday's and it sparked a light in me.

This week I didn't get as much writing done as I had planned, but it was an eventful week outside of writing. I did finish round two of edits on Fool Me Once and last night I received the cover. I'm hoping to share it soon. I also have a release date now, December 19, 2011. I'm tickled pink I have two novellas out in 2011. Its been a great year and I have so enjoyed having my dream come true.

I had three blog stops this week.
A favorite family recipe at Spicin' It Up
Interview at author Cassandra Carr's
Interview at author Pepper Anthony's

I'm hoping to get a good but of writing done today and keep my fingers crossed nothing inter-fears. But hey, life is life and we have no control on over.

See ya next Friday

**************
Amber let Moxy off the leash and watched as the dog sprinted up toward their apartment. Slowly, she followed behind. As she was about to step inside she heard her name being called. Shit, she thought as she glanced down at her big rabbit ear slippers on her feet that were so old her big toe was sticking out. No one was ever out here when she took the dog out at this hour. Turning, she came face-to-face with Jax. She noticed he was looking down. Her eyes immediately went to her slippers, then she realized she was braless, wearing an old white t-shirt, and that her nipples had decided to be fully erect as if waving hello to him. She quickly crossed her arms and felt her face become flush.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare,” Jax said.

Unsure of what to say, she decided to just stay silent.

“So I was thinking about your predicament with Moxy,” he said.

“What predicament?”

“You mentioned in one of our talks about needing daycare or something for her. I was thinking that since I’m in and out of here during the day that I could always come in and walk her.”

“Oh. Well, walking her isn’t the issue. It’s the barking all day that has the neighbors complaining.”

“Well, I could play with her during the day.”

It was too early for Amber to be making decisions. She was a night person, so how was she supposed to make a decision after only a few sips of coffee?

“Let me think about it today.”

“Okay, I could stop by the library later and see what you decided.”

“I’m off today, so if you need the internet, you will have to come by my place. I doubt old Mabel is going to let you in at closing.”

“Okay.”

Amber looked him up and down. He was wearing light khakis and a button-down blue shirt. He looked confidant and sexy. Her eyes met his again, and she wasn’t sure why she had never noticed him before. He was hot, the way his hair fell in front of his eyes in that style that was suppose to look messy. Not to mention his lips—she could imagine herself nibbling on them.

“Why don’t you come by later?” she suggested.

Jax looked confused a minute and then smiled. “To discuss Moxy?”

“Yeah, that and maybe we could talk about something else.” Taking a deep breath, she added, “I have a proposition for you.”

She dropped her arms from her chest, well aware her nipples were still peeking out to say hello. And his gaze moved down to say hi right back.He glanced up at her face. “Yeah? Okay, I’ll be by l-later,” he stuttered.

The calm after the storm

When I awoke Saturday, there was a pleasant surprise. My book was already on Amazon. So I immediately started to market it. Telling everyone who had a kindle or kindle app, it was available. It was so exciting and such a rush to see it ready for others to buy. Then Monday rolled around and it was available all over for any ereader. And the fun began again. Telling the world. Too bad I didn't have a mountain top to yell it off. I most likely would have.

There really is no word to describe what its like to see your dream come true. It surreal. Even better, people like it. And not just my friends who are reading it, but people I don't even know like it! Reviews have been good so far. 3 stars, 4 stars, and 5 star reviews.

I am getting ready for my online tour in November and at this point I'm just excited. Its weird to finally post interview, guest posts, and so on.

Like I said, a dream come true. Release day is something. I can't wait for many more!  I hope for as much success with Fool Me Once!

And hey, since its so fun marketing, here are the buy links :) Go buy my novella.Amazon / Nook / Beachwalk Press

Yay! Hurray! Booty shake dance! That one was brutal! *Wipes sweat from forehead.* Seriously, I completed book 2 in my upcoming series today. It was a challenge. The characters gave me a very hard time. For awhile, they just didn't let it flow, but finally it did. I'm still tossing a few ideas around for the title. I'm going to be starting my read through soon to see if this story flows well and so on. Fingers crossed it isn't a jumbled mess and it works. This one I am nervous about. Maybe because I had such a hard time with it. Who knows. Either way, I feel super accomplished that it is at least done. The hard part is over.

On another note, Monday Amber's Muse is released! Yay!!!! I have already had a few reviews come in and so far everyone is liking it and looks forward to reading more from me. Makes me feel good. I know there is going to be a review out there that thinks my book is no good, but at least I have some positive to fall back on.

Also, edits have begun on Fool Me Once. I really like this story. I can't wait until its available.

Have a great weekend! And don't forget, buy my book Monday!!!! Wooo-hooo!

Well, today the final copy of Amber's Muse was delivered in all formats. Its done. I did it. Wow! And it was fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Then, I saw my book had been delivered to numerous review sites.  My belly did a flip flop sort of thing. Currently, my book is in the hands on strangers. Will they like it? Will they hate it? I suppose before long, I will know.

Thank God I got fake nails over the weekend or I might have bitten my nails completely off!

Less then 2 weeks. Count down....

Amber's Muse Excerpt

Available October 17, 2011:
Amber grabbed the bottle of wine and refilled both glasses. She thought about chugging the bottle down for liquid courage, but didn’t know how that would look. Taking the glasses, she headed into the living room and tried to get comfortable and appear sexy at the same time.

Jax came out of the kitchen and took a seat on the couch across from her, still holding a towel as he dried his hands. She had to just get it out or she was going to chicken out. She could tell Jax was anxious to know what was going on.

“Okay, so the reason I asked you over tonight…” She grabbed her glass and took a big sip of wine. Screw it, she needed liquid courage. She drained her glass and set it down. Taking a deep breath, she blurted out, “I’m writing a book.”

“That’s awesome. Did you want me to edit it or something?”

“Um, no,” she replied. “Okay, this is tough to ask. So I guess I should just say it.”

Jax just looked at her, waiting. He looked sexy as hell sitting with his arms across the back of the couch. It was now or never.

“The book I’m writing is an erotic romance.” She studied his face; a slight smirk formed on it. “As you might know, I don’t get a whole lot of male company around here, and well, past experiences have never really left me satisfied, so I don’t have a lot to go on.”

“Are you asking me for porn or something?”

She bit her bottom lip and let out a slight laugh. “No, I’m asking if you would be interested in being a test subject for me.”

Jax lost his smirk and his eyes widened.

“I have a lot of ideas, I just don’t know how they would exactly play out, if you get my drift. I want to try them with you.”

“Are you asking me what I think you are?”

“What do you think I’m asking?”

“You want to have sex with me to help with your book?”

“Yes.” Her eyes locked on his.

Jax stared back, his eyes darkening with passion. Silence stood between them.

“Where do I sign up?” he responded.
