The kid's last day of school was May 22, and since then we've been going non-stop. First, my daughter had strep throat, then once she was better, it's been this and that, go here and there. Agh! I told the kids today I needed a mommy break. I've got work to do. And guess what releases next week? KEYS TO HER HEART! Ack! I've still got to read it once last time and get it formatted before release.

Happy Friday! And to celebrate summer vacation starting in my house, I'm offering up a giveaway! This giveaway runs today only! Good luck!
![]() Sometimes the cover isn't the right one for a book. I made a tough decision and decided to change my cover for Hypnotized. While the book has done wonderful, and I thank each of you who has picked this one up, I worry the cover isn't the right one for the book. Yes, my hero Gabe rides a motorcycle, but this isn't a biker romance, and I fear I've led a few readers in the wrong direction with the cover. Hypnotized is about Paisley moving out and learning the ropes of life and falling in love for her first time. Gabe is the reformed bad boy who catches her eye, and with his help, encourages her to become stronger. I hope you like the new cover. I loved the old one, but I must say, this one is pretty good too! And I think it captures Gabe and Paisley in a whole different way. If you've not picked this one up yet, it's on sale for $2.99. Amazon | Nook | All Romance *Note - at the time of this post Amazon still had not updated the new cover. However, if you've already purchased this book, when it updates, you should be able to update it on your kindle if you choose.* ![]() Monday's are personal posts, and this is one that gets pretty personal. I am my toughest critic. I can't even express to you the amount of time I spend doubting myself as a writer. Did I write the best story? Did I show enough emotion? Am I as good as half the other authors out there? Oh God, that reviewer hated my book, should I unpublish it? These are things that go through my head all the time. Some days it gets in the way of my writing to the point I just can't write. I doubt myself too much, that when I stare at my latest work in progress, I begin to wonder, what is the point? |
