It's that time of the year. We reminisce on what we've done in 2013 and what we want to do in 2014. If you'd like to see all I did in 2013, check out this blog post HERE. Now to think ahead.
In 2014, I'd like to continue writing longer pieces. In 2013, I feel like I finally found my genre I'm comfortable with. Now to take that genre and run with it. I would like to continue to push the amount of words I write in day, but without sacrificing quality. I'm usually a 3k (3000 words) a day kinda writer. And that's with getting as much thought process on a scene down at the time. The last few days I was able to do over 4k, and that was with turning off social media... Which leads to the next one. I need to schedule my social media time. Right now, I must admit, I am one of those people who will stare at facebook for hours, hitting refresh just to see what's going on. Mid-scene while writing, I will stop writing just because facebook dinged. No more. I want to actaully blog more and get a little more personal. I feel like me holding back on who I am is what is holding me back some in my career. I'm a keep to myself kinda person usually, but I need to break away from that. So hopefully in 2014, I will blog more about life in general, as well as share some pictures and so on. And finally - the big one. In 2013 I was so excited to actually hit some amazon best selling lists. How about this year I go for the big lists. The USA or NYT lists. --- HEY! A girl can dream, right?! Happy New Year! I hope your 2014 is great!

2013 was good. I feel like I finally started to put a footprint out there as an author. I had several books on the Amazon best seller lists and have finally become comfortable in my author skin. I'm usually a good planner, but I don't have a good plan yet for 2014. But I'm not too worried. It's going to be a great year. And I'm kicking of January with a fab release called Arranged Love. And then I have a brand new series starting with some hunky older rich men as the heros. I can't wait to share these stories with you. And if you have enjoyed the Brookfield series. Don't worry, it's not over. I'm hoping to release two more in this series in 2014.
Enjoy my year in review on publications. I recently participated in two different hops and it's time to choose the winners!

The winners are: Angie Crystal Young Nikki B Beachwalk Babes Holiday Blog Hop - One naughty winner (Bound By Pleasure) and one nice (Wanted: Wife) winner. The winners are: Naughty - Kimberly Mayberry Nice - Sarah Miles I will be emailing you all shortly. Hi! I'm Lacey Wolfe and I'm an author with Beachwalk Press. Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the web. I'm not a big holiday person. You could call me the Grinch. But since my kids arrived, I get a little more in the holiday spirit for them. I really enjoy the Elf on the Shelf. I like seeing my childrens' face when he moves and they have to find him and see what he did that night. Because that little guy gets himself into weird predicaments. I'm not crazy about decorating. Everyone now and then I get excited, like last year which was our first year in this house. But for the most part, I dislike having to move things around the house just to accommodate that tree. See, I told you. I am the Grinch. Just give me a big green suit and put me up on my own mountain and I'll be happy. :) This month marks two years since Fool Me Once was published. And this month, it's on sale for....99 cents! That's a savings of 67%! Go ahead, check out this novella if you haven't yet! AMAZON - NOOK - ALL ROMANCE - BEACHWALK PRESS Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice… Drew is the last person Skylar wanted to see across from her at a local bar. A month ago he'd wined and dined her all weekend, leaving her feeling fully in love, but then she awoke alone in an empty hotel room and she hadn't heard from him since. The weekend Drew spent with Skylar was phenomenal. There had never been anyone who made him feel as complete as she did. He shouldn't have disappeared, he should have called, but his feelings for her scared him, so he distanced himself. But when he saw her again, he knew he couldn't stay away any longer. Skylar's determined not to give Drew another chance to hurt her, but he's just as determined to win her back. Although it won't be easy, he's up to the challenge, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal. My next release is around the corner in January! This one is a little spicier then most of my recent releases, but I think you'll enjoy it! They think they're fooling their parents, but really, the joke's on them. Kayla Ames's parents could win an award in meddling. Every time she turns around, they're setting her up with someone new. Try as she might, she can't convince them to butt out of her love life. Ryan Newell isn't looking for love. After having his heart torn to shreds by his ex, he's determined to never again fall in love and leave himself that vulnerable to being hurt. His parents, however, believe he just needs some help finding the right woman, and their friends' daughter, Kayla, might be a perfect match. Realizing they both have the same problem—parents who won't stop nagging them about finding a partner—Ryan and Kayla agree to an arrangement of sorts. All they have to do is pretend to date, and they don't even have to see each other, they can discuss the details of their "dates" via email. But then the email conversations lead to real dates, and Kayla finds herself struggling to keep her feelings for Ryan in check as he's made it clear love will not enter into the equation for him. Then Kayla's parents suddenly announce they're getting a divorce, and she begins to wonder if maybe Ryan has the right idea. When it all gets to be too much for Kayla, she has a hard decision to make—agree to stay with Ryan and never experience love, or walk away for her chance to find it.
