Sometimes you just got to take a break and have a little fun. That is what I am doing. I was working so hard on book 2 of my Hot Bods Series that I was struggling. The characters Adam and Amy are a little more delicate. As the author I have to tip toe around them myself sometimes. I know to some, that sounds a little crazy. I only plan to write another 7,000 words for this one so its about the same length as book 1. Then I decided to put it aside for now. Fool Me Once edits have not even started so I figured there was no hurry to get this one done so quickly. Then a light bulb went off on another story. A stand-alone. The days I have written I have been knocking it out. 10,000 words already. My goal is to get to 20,000. So, half way there and I don't feel like we have really hit the halfway point yet. So, we will see. Its just a fun story. No idea if I will try to publish this one. I guess it depends on the beta readers. :)

So, today as I updated my online appearance page, I couldn't help but get nervous. Then I glanced at the date and realized I am just over a month before release date, October 17. I started to feel a little flustered and these things called butterflies in my stomach! Many of these sites on tour will also review my book. My mind started shouting, "what if they hate it?!" Okay, so I know, not everyone is going to like it. As a book reviewer myself (BecksBookPicks), I know, not every book is for everyone. Hopefully someone does like it so people will buy it.
I then looked at my long list of 19 stops in November. I have a few guest blogs and that does seem a lot of fun. Then I wondered, what in the world am I going to write about for all these stops. Each stop should be fresh. Even though I am really nervous about everything that is ahead, I am thrilled. That's right, I am doing exactly what I want. For so long I have wanted to be in just this spot, and I finally am. So toss all the guest blogs, interviews, and so on this way. I am ready. Before long I will be doing it all over again for my next book and then the one after, and after that...you get the drift. The family escaped for Labor Day. We took the journey from Georgia to visit family in Virginia Beach. No, we did not go to the beach one time, crazy, I know. We all literally relaxed. I left my net book at home so I would not even be tempted to hide away and edit/write. To be honest, I didn't even think about edits or my current work in progress. I just had fun. Sometimes that's just what you need. My head feels fresh today and I was ready to tackle my edits.
Hope everyone else had a great weekend and took some time off to just enjoy life. Sometimes it’s the person you least expect who can satisfy all your desires By day Amber’s a librarian, and by night she hides away writing erotic romance novels. She has just one problem—not enough sexual experience to pull from. A recent steamy dream leaves Amber wondering if her neighbor Jax might be just the guy who can help her. He seems almost perfect to use as a sexual guinea pig, especially since she doesn’t have to worry about falling in love with him. Jax has lived next door to Amber for a year and has tried everything he can think of to get her to notice him, but it hasn’t worked. Until recently. When Amber approaches him asking for his help, he’s ready to jump on board. When he learns exactly what kind of help she needs, he’s definitely willing. Becoming involved with someone like Jax simply isn’t an option for Amber. He barely works, can’t manage his money, and has no ambition in life. So why does he suddenly seem so right for her?
