![]() This is my first time ever doing Nano. Shocking...I know. And I almost didn't this year. Reason why? I'm always already working on something when November comes and I don't want to put it aside. Well, this year was no different. I know someone out there is going to call me a cheater for this, however my goal like their's is to write 50,000 words this month. Confession time, I didn't start a new story. I currently have two work-in-progresses. One I want to hit 50,000 words and the other 30,000. When I began Nano, the first one was only are 16,000 and the other at 1500. With the motivation of Nano, in the past 5 days I have gotten my longer one to 24,000 and my shorter one to 4000. Pretty good in my opinion. While I might not be doing this the "correct" way, either way at the end of November, one of these will be complete and the other won't be far behind. And as long as I write the 50k, that's all that really matters, right? I will say, I don't usually push myself to write everyday. I have though this month. I am giving Nano my all. I haven't met my word count yet today, so my writing day isn't over yet. I think this will be good for me in the long run. If you're doing Nano, how's it going?
