![]() April already?! Seriously. Wow. Time sure does fly. I've been busy with writing, but recently took a little time off while the kids were on spring break. We went to Virginia Beach to visit my husband's sister and her kids. It was fun to get away for a few days and have no responsibility. No house to clean, no thinking about all my upcoming deadlines that have my head spinning. It was great to just have some fun. Play with my nieces and nephews and I even got to meet a friend/reader while I was there. Those are my kiddos on the beach. It was chilly, but we still got out there. My daughter is 9 and my son is 11. They look so small in the photo, lol. Like kids, usually when I look at them, all I see are these growing, grumpy tiny teens who call me mom. <3 I love them. We stopped at a place called South of The Border in South Carolina and the kids sat on these giant chickens. I have some cute photos of my nieces and nephew too with all the statues. Great memories were made. This is me (in the crazy bird shirt), when I met Shelly Small. We enjoyed coffee together and book talk. I really LOVE to chat books and writing. *** But now I'm home and this week is back to the grind. I have a goal to finish up Strangers At The Altar this week. I hope I can. You see, I'm totally not writing at the moment and doing this blog instead. Want to know why? It's time to write that dreaded black moment. You know the one where the romance crashes away. Only my hero has himself in a pickle. Even I'm not sure he can get his way out of it. He's really broken the trust to my heroine. Guess my billionaire has a lot of groveling to do to get back his love. Too bad money can't buy love. True Love in Laguna is currently in edits and is on schedule to release in July as intended. Strangers At The Altar will be coming at the end of May or beginning of June. I'm not sure yet. It depends on if I actually finish the book this week and how quickly edits go. I do want to get this story in your hands. I think you're going to love it. I've had fun writing it and even admit to liking writing in first person. Not something I thought I'd ever like, but I do! This story has brought back my love for writing and just creating. I really don't have a lot to chat about this month. I hope to reveal the release date soon for Strangers At The Altar, as well as an excerpt. Check back soon! -Lacey
