Welcome to the Beachwalk Press Halloween Blog Hop! I love fall and I enjoy Halloween. Growing up, it was always fun to dress up and walk around with a friend as we collected candy. Then we got to come home, inspect it all and see what we had. Now I'm a mom and I get to do this with my kids. My first born, who is now 10, I didn't take him trick or treating until he was 3. Mainly because where we lived at the time, there weren't many neighborhoods. Not to mention I was an anal mom who followed a schedule. My son enjoys schedules too, my daughter, not so much. Here is a photo from our first time going trick or treating. My son was so cute in that spiderman outfit. When he finally figured out he had to walk down someones driveway, ring the doorbell, and he got candy. He'd RUN for the houses, his little head sticking out of his costume. And here they are from last year. The son just gets by now with costume in order to get candy. He'd much prefer to go as himself, but I told him he wouldn't get candy. The daughter wants to be cute, yet scary at the same time. Now that you've seen my adorable kids (and I stare at my son's photo, amazed at how much more mature he looks from a year ago), let's get onto the prizes of this blog hop! The Blog Hop Grand Prize...Beachwalk Press will be giving away randomly two $25 gift certificates to the winner's choices of Amazon, B&N, or All Romance Ebooks. Winner's will be chosen randomly from the blogs. To enter, just visit all the blogs and leave a comment. Leave your email address in the comment itself, please. My giveaway....I'm going to choose two winners who leave a blog comment to win an advanced copy of my fall release with Beachwalk, Counting Cowboys! ![]() Can a hot cowboy convince Lauren to stay in Texas and take another chance on love? Tucker Carver likes to have fun and has no intention of settling down anytime soon. He handles the business side of Carver Ranch for his family, and on the day he’s scheduled to meet with their accountant, he instead meets a beautiful woman who changes everything. Lauren Ford packed up and moved to Texas to start over after her fiancé had an affair with her best friend. Her father’s retiring and has offered to let her take over his accounting firm. When she meets Tucker she’s immediately taken with him, despite his reputation as a ladies’ man. Knowing she isn’t looking for love, or even if she wants to stay in Texas, she decides to have fun with Tucker and keep her feelings at bay. After one taste of Lauren, Tucker has other plans. Lauren is the woman he wants, but for some reason she’s resisting. And it doesn’t help when her ex-fiancé shows up in town wanting her to go back to Georgia with him. Can Tucker convince her that his feelings are true, or will he lose her forever? Content Warning: contains adult language and explicit sexual scenes Hop on....Sidda Lee Tate

Spiderman is very classic and your son is adorable in his costume. I'd rather just have the candy instead of dressing up too, and your daughter is so cute, and gosh those fangs are really frightening. LOL.

My son, who is almost 4, is the same. When I rounded off a few character costumes he could be he told me, "No. I'm Steele." His name is Steele. I looked for a superman costume in Wal-Mart, but couldn't find one. Man-of-Steele, lol. So he is goig as the muscular Spiderman this year like your son did! He knows if he wants candy he has to wear it. My little one is going to be a bad ballerina princess. My oldest is a pink skeleton with a tutu. Thanks for participationg. You have adorable kids! amhart311@gmail.com

I used to love Halloween but for the past several years I have had to work (because I don't have kids) so I think I have just gotten out of it. This book sounds really good can't wait to read it.

Aww, adorable kids!! I love when they get excited about dressing up! My 3 youngest nephews still like to dress up, but my 13yr old niece has decided she isnt wearing any costume this yr,... She's no fun! My sister & I still like to dress up every year & we are in our 30's lol. This yr my 9yr old nephew is the purple ninja turtle, my 6yr old nephew is the white power ranger, & my 3yr old nephew is his favorite character, Batman,... or as he likes to say "I'm Matman" he cant say the B lol.

Your kids are adorable! I don't have kids, but I've tried really hard, and quite seriously, to talk my 80 lb 5'1 mom into dressing up enough so that she'll pass as a kid so we can get candy lol She still won't go for it.
