For me, it's usually a toss up between fall and spring for a favorite season. But fall always wins over just a little. Mainly for the smells. Weird, right? I love the scents of this season. The apple, pumpkin, cinnamon, caramel, the list goes on. I am a big scent burner in my house. I love the wax cubes and have one going all the time. I could probably eat my house when the scents are burning. I live in Georgia and we have a pretty fall. In October the leaves will start changing colors. We'll have the reds, oranges, browns. I wish it stayed pretty longer, but the leaves drop pretty quick. The temperatures are perfect. I'll have my windows open most days with no AC or heat on. A cool breeze will keep my home comfortable. The temperatures will be in the mid to high 60's or low 70's. And it will stay that way until November when it begins to get colder. Some years I decorate the house for the season, some I don't. I'm itching to decorate this year. I'm looking forward to Halloween this year. My kids are getting older. My son already goes off with friends usually and does his own thing. I still have my daughter who wants me with, but who knows how long that will last. It won't be long until she wants to stretch her wings and have a little more independence. Happy fall, ya'll! Tis the season of yummy smells , Thanksgiving, warm beverages, and some good outside time when we feel the weather is almost perfect. -Lacey

This has probably got to be my favorite time of the year as well. Not only for all the reasons you mentioned above but also for the fact that I can't stand to be hot. Lol. I'm a jeans and t-shirts kinda girl and this weather is perfect for me! Not too hot, not too cold. Also I LOVE hot apple cider and this is the time of year they bring it out full swing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now! The fresh apples and all the spices used to balance it out to make that perfect flavor combination of sweet and savory. I think this year we will have to try a corn maze! It's one thing I haven't done yet...along with a real haunted house. Then again I may just stick to the corn maze. There's no telling what I'd do if someone jumped out at me with a fake chainsaw right now. I'd probably snatch that thing from him and chase him back with it. Yeah, my lawyer says corn maze. Lol!
