I'm Francesca and you will meet me in each book of the Hot Bods series. In Fool Me Once, I'm the other woman. And in More Than Useful, Adam is my brother. Lacey didn't set out in the beginning to include me in any other books but Fool Me Once, where like I said she has me as the other woman. Through out the stories I am portrayed as a gold digger in some ways. I only want a rich man and to live the fancy life. But I was happy when Mrs. Wolfe wrote Accidental Love, which releases in June, to show a different side of me. I'm not stuck up--well not all the time. But I am going to speak my mind and I am NOT going to put up with anything. Just because I am beautiful and like to pamper myself, doesn't mean I am self-centered. Lacey is currently working on my story, that she has titled Opposites Attract. I think she has a few tricks up her sleeve. Hopefully she can get this story written soon. I must say, I have watched three girls get their man before me. And I have been there since the beginning. Mrs. Wolfe had better not make this to complicated or else I just might have to throw a fit. After all, she is trying hard to get me and Skylar (Fool Me Once) as friends. I could make that very difficult for her, if I wanted. Before I go, enjoy this excerpt with me and Skylar from Fool Me Once “So, how do you know Drew?” Francesca inquired. Rolling her eyes and wondering why this day kept getting worse, Skylar answered, “I told you to ask Drew.” “Well, I don’t want to. I’m asking you.” Packing her things up in her cosmetic bag, she tried to ignore the woman, hoping she would just go away. She wasn’t succeeding though, the stupid girl just stood there, arms crossed, toes tapping, waiting. “We slept together, several times.” Skylar turned toward her, also crossing her arms tightly across her chest. It was like they were suddenly having a showdown with their eyes. “How long ago?” “Yesterday.” The last thing she expected was for Francesca to burst into tears. All of the sudden she was a sobbing mess. Grabbing a handful of tissues off the vanity, Skylar tossed them at her. There was no way in hell she was going to comfort this girl. All she wanted was for her to shut up. Gazing up at the ceiling she wondered if this would be a good time to pray. Shit, this day just needed to end. “I knew there was someone else. I just knew it!” Francesca wailed, wiping her snotty nose. “If it’s any comfort, it was one time and then a month ago. I can’t be that special, he left me in a hotel room and never called.” The crying stopped abruptly. “Oh, he left you too. Well, I experienced that just the other night when we were at that new bar on Cleveland Street. First, I lost him for a while and then when we went back to my place to get cozy, he just left me on the couch. I don’t remember much, I was pretty toasted.” She tossed her tissues in the trash. An odd feeling swept through Skylar. “What night was that?” she asked. “Uh, a few nights ago.” Skylar was speechless. She felt like someone had just punched her in the gut. He was in the alley with her fooling around and then the asshole went home with another woman. “It’s been nice chatting, but I have to go.” Grabbing her stuff, Skylar walked away as fast as she could. She couldn’t bear to hear any more.
