Thank you Lacey for having me on your blog today. 1. Tell us a little about yourself. I talk a lot, write even more than I talk, and have spent more time online in the last four months than any adult should. I’m a wife, a mother of two teenage sons (just shoot me now) and I used to work as an ER RN. Loved that job, but enjoy my current working conditions better. And if you can believe it, the benefits are better now! Scrubs were comfortable, but a bathrobe is even better! 2. What genre do you write? A better question might be, what don’t I write. If it has romance in the book, I’ll write it. I enjoy paranormal and world building but I love contemporaries, too. Of course with any time travel you have to have a little historical or maybe even futuristic in them. 3. Please tell us about your latest release Highland Shifter and how you came up with the idea? Highland Shifter is the 4th book in a series. However, it’s a stand-alone title. It was time for the teenage children in my other three time travel books to grow up and get a life of their own. 4. Is it part of a series? The first three books, Binding Vows, Silent Vows and Redeeming Vows were a true trilogy. All three books were connected by one bad guy…er, girl. Highland Shifter kicks off the next three books in the series. 5. Advice to writers who have yet to be published. Writers write. This is a great job but in order to get better at it you must keep writing. Persistence is key to getting published. Yes, you can self publish and that might be the best thing you can do. But make darn sure you’re releasing the best book you can if you decide to go that route. 6. Any quirky habits? I love using big words but can’t spell them!12. What type of hero do you enjoy writing about? All of them. I like to think mine are different in one way or another or the books would start to sound the same. JMHO. 7. What are you currently working on? I’m working on the second book in my ‘Bride Series’ Married by Monday, and then Amber’s story. 8. Anything that you’d like to share. This last year has been a huge high for me as a writer. I released my first contemporary romance, Wife by Wednesday, which spread my work farther and to more readers than I could have ever dreamed. Making the USA Today Bestseller list and then the New York Times Bestseller list wasn’t something I ever thought I could do with a self published book. But I did, and I think there will be more and more authors to follow. It’s a great time to be a writer and I encourage everyone to follow their dreams. About The AuthorNew York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Catherine Bybee has been addicted to romance since her teens. After spending a decade of her life working as an RN in urban emergency rooms, Catherine is now dedicated to writing happily-ever-afters for the world to love. Catherine is married and raising two sons in Southern California.

I do now, Robin. I have a three book deal with two more books to write for that deal...so yeah, I have to keep track of what I'm doing when. I give myself deadlines even on my self published titles. So far, it's working.
