I wonder if anyone out there does this? I wouldn't think I'm the only one, but I guess you never know.
When I finish the first draft of a story, there is one thing I don't do until draft two. I make a little note on the document before I close it for at least a week and try to push it from my mind. So, what is the odd thing? I don't write the books ending until the second draft. Why? Because I like to re-read everything I've written and see if the idea I had for the ending is still the best ending after the whole story has digested. Yup, so there you have it. I'm an odd cookie, I know.
