Yay! I won! What a feeling. Now to polish up what I've written! Besides writing 50,ooo words in a month, how was NaNo good for me? I pushed myself. As a full-time writing I sometimes slack in it. I'll write a few days a week and the other days goof off. But during NaNo, getting my word count in was most important. Before NaNo, I typically could write about 2,500 words a day. And that would be if I spread it out all day. I'm proud to say now in a hour and a half, maybe two hours, I would write 3,500. Yes, I really upped it! And it felt nice. In fact, I had a few days where I think I wrote around 5,000 words. So, I'm very happy I did NaNo and I think next year when it comes around, I'll join in again. If you did NaNo this year, did it benefit you in anyway?
